We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join this mechanical contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of domestic & commercial plumbing systems and be able to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on various plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The work consists of shopfitting, care home extensions, sports pavilions, day centres and activity centres. We require a well versed Plumber who is comfortable with both domestic and commercial projects. Applicants must be willing to work away on a regular basis.

Duties

* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.

* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.

* Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.

* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion.

* Progress into a supervisor role.

* Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

* Be willing to work away on a weekly basis with hotels and meal allowance paid for by the company.

Experience

* Proven experience as a Plumber/Pipefitter or Commercial Plumber.

* Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

* A valid driving licence.

* Shopfitting/Healthcare/Leisure experience will be an advantage but not essential.
