My client in Bromley is seeking an experienced Team Manager to join their Safeguarding and Care Planning Team

Salary: up to £55,890.00 per annum

In addition, you will receive up to £2000 annual retention payment, £2000 Golden Hello
and other excellent benefits including a lease car

Hours: Full Time

Contract: Permanent

Location: Bromley Civic Centre/hybrid working

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Safeguarding and Care Planning Team. You will play a crucial role in managing and guiding a team of social workers to ensure the highest standards of practice in safeguarding and care planning for children and families. This role involves strategic oversight of complex cases, supporting professional development, and ensuring compliance with statutory duties and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and motivate the Safeguarding and Care Planning Team to deliver high-quality services.
Oversee case management and ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
Supervise, coach, and support social workers in their professional development.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
Monitor performance and implement improvement strategies as required.

Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work or equivalent, with current Social Work England registration.

Significant experience in child protection, safeguarding, and care planning.
Proven leadership and management experience within a social care setting.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
