Specialist Medical Equipment Engineer (Anaesthesia and Ventilator Focus)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Location: London
Purpose of the Role
Maintained, supported, and manage anaesthesia and ventilator equipment within healthcare facilities. Perform preventative maintenance and manage customer relationships to ensure effective operation of medical devices.
Key Accountabilities
Perform equipment repairs as per guidelines.
Maintain specialist equipment in-house or manage external contracts.
Complete administrative tasks promptly.
Travel for maintenance and training.
Train site or field-based engineers.
Ensure services meet customer satisfaction.
Schedule training sessions.
Coordinate with leaders for maintenance schedules.
Maintain safe working practices.
Ensure adequate spare parts are maintained.
Support leaders on equipment issues.
Qualifications
Essential:
Certified training in Anaesthesia and Ventilator equipment
Qualification in Engineering, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering
Skills and Experience
Essential:
5+ years of experience in a biomedical setting
Familiarity with national and local regulatory standards
Experience in clinical areas involving patient communication
