Job Opportunity: Site Manager
Location: Retford
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum plus package
 
A principal contractor working on Severn Trent Water projects is looking to strengthen their construction team with a Site Manager based in North Nottinghamshire.
 
Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing the site team, ensuring the safe and effective management of all operational activities across projects. Your role will focus on meeting Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards, as well as ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Ensure all work is carried out with consideration for the local community and the general public.
·Manage, supervise, and mentor the site team to ensure optimal performance.
·Promote cost-conscious management through efficient use of resources.
·Prepare, review, and update realistic project schedules.
·Ensure method statements and risk assessments are properly prepared, reviewed, briefed, and updated.
·Provide all "as constructed" records to the CDMC for inclusion in the Health and Safety File promptly after project completion.
·Attend all necessary training related to site management duties, including appointed person and temporary works training.
 
About You:
·Recognised Civil Engineering or Site Management qualifications
·Health, Safety, and Environmental Management certification (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate)
·CSCS Site Manager certification (minimum)
·First Aid at Work certification
·Experience in the Water/Waste Water Treatment Industry
·Experience in deep excavation and civil construction
