Required start date: Mon 18/11/2024 for 4 weeks

Location: Central Guildford - 5 minutes' walk from the train station and parking available onsite

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 (1hr unpaid lunch break)

Pay: £16 per hour + accrued holiday pay and boost benefits

Overview:

We're searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to support our client's financial year end by recording reconciliations into XERO.

Sounds interesting??.. what will my daily duties look like??

Duties:

Handling high-volume reconciliations of bank accounts and transactions
Processing reconciliations into XERO with speed and accuracy
Reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies
Supporting the Finance Manager with any other financial adminSkills/ Experience:

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with using the accounting software called Xero
Ability to work at a very fast pace
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure
