Dunbar Education is seeking a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive school in Birmingham. This exciting opportunity allows a dedicated educator to make a meaningful impact on the learning and development of young students. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to inspire a Year 5 class.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Create engaging, dynamic lessons that align with the Year 5 curriculum, fostering curiosity and a love for learning.

* Monitor and Support Pupil Progress: Assess and track each pupil’s academic progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.

* Effective Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive learning environment, maintaining respect and engagement among students.

* Communication with Parents: Keep parents and carers informed about their child's progress and address any concerns in a timely and professional manner.

* Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with fellow staff members to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices, while promoting the school’s ethos and values.

Key Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for primary teaching roles.

* Experience in Key Stage 2: Ideally, you will have experience teaching Year 5 or a similar age group, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.

* Strong Classroom Presence: Ability to quickly establish rapport with students and manage a classroom effectively.

* Flexibility and Adaptability: Ready to step into a new setting and deliver high-quality education.

* Team-Oriented: Collaborative, with a commitment to building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
