Job Opportunity: Mechanical Project Engineer(Water)
Location: Kent
Rate up to £300 a day CIS/Umbrella
Duration: 6 months +potential extension
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Mechanical Project Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role involves assisting the Project Manager in overseeing onsite project work, including site surveys, technical specifications, quoting, delivery, and commissioning.
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring adherence to quality standards (ISO 9001), environmental policies (ISO 14001), and health and safety requirements (ISO 45001).
Key Responsibilities:
·Conduct site surveys and liaise with clients to gather project requirements.
·Build detailed technical specifications based on client needs, including site information and photographs.
·Maintain transparent project documentation using the company job costing system.
·Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to develop pricing, scopes, and specifications.
·Support the Project Manager in procuring materials and organizing subcontractor attendance.
Desired Skills & Qualifications (Not Essential):
·Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
·Full UK driving licence.
·Understanding of on site health and safety rules and regulations.
·Confined space and water hygiene knowledge (training available if needed).
·Engineering background, ideally with Water Utilities
·Strong communication and organisational skills
