Job Title: Facilities Technician
Shift: Day shift
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £24,000 to £25,500 per annum
A great role with a fast-growing, established precision engineering business based in Gloucestershire. They are looking for a superstar to join their Facilities maintenance team, working within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities – Facilities Technician
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Technician will assist with basic mechanical maintenance on a variety of production and CNC machinery, maintain coolant levels, manage swarf, perform basic facility maintenance and general workshop cleaning and organising.
This position will be working on a day shift (Monday to Friday)
Qualifications & Requirements – Facilities Technician
Previous experience within a hands-on machine or facilities maintenance role in a manufacturing environment (tasks such as electrical/mechanical repairs).
Proven track record in general building and facility maintenance including working at heights.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Be proactive in a continues improvement nature and motivated to succeed.
Ability to work independently and work within a small team.
Forklift or Telehandler experience desirable
High attention to detail with health and safety practices.
Happy to turn hand to anything
