Position: English Teacher
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Start Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach English Language and English Literature at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

* Develop and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.

* Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and guidance to support their academic development.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to express their ideas.

* Contribute to the development and improvement of the English curriculum, incorporating diverse literary texts and resources.

* Collaborate with colleagues in the English department to create a dynamic and cohesive teaching experience.

Key Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3 and KS4).

* A strong passion for literature, language, and the written word.

* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
