Do you have in-depth knowledge of housing laws, regulations and industry standards? Do you pride yourself in your attention to detail and analytical skills? If so, we're seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team, in an organisation certified as a Great Place to Work. Embrace the chance to make a difference in a dynamic role that blends regulatory expertise with analytical skill.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a roaming role that offers a mixture of office and home working. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our compliance programmes, particularly in asbestos, water, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, are effectively managed and delivered.

You will liaise with internal and external service delivery teams to ensure works are completed on time and in accordance with Bromford's access processes. Monitoring remedial compliance actions to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be a key part of your role. You will keep colleagues and other Compliance Officers informed of hard-to-access cases and request assistance as needed.

Your responsibilities will include collating, validating, and updating systems with compliance data, assisting with performance and assurance reporting, and daily monitoring of forward-looking programmes to minimise the risk of non-compliance. You will also obtain and utilise essential information relating to property and component changes, ensuring systems and programmes are updated accurately. Additionally, you will review information from service providers, conduct desktop checks of compliance certification, and support the compliance team in completing audit actions and preparing performance reports.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

* Experience in monitoring compliance or maintenance programmes, especially in asbestos, water, and M&E systems

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

* A good basic standard of education, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths

* Flexibility and reliability

This role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week and permanent. You’ll be based in either our Chipping Sodbury (BS37 6JX) or Tewkesbury (GL20 8ND) office with regular home working available. The role is subject to a basic DBS check.

If you are passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a team that values safety, security, and warmth for all, we would love to hear from you!

The closing date for this exciting position is Sunday 22 December. Apply now and be a part of a team that’s redefining compliance excellence
