The Client
Our client who are skilled interdisciplinary team offers a comprehensive range of construction consultancy services across a wide range of sectors: housing, education, health, care, blue light, commercial, and regeneration and mixed use. They are an industry leader. They specialise in analysing defects and put together efficient, effective recovery plans for any property type, included listed buildings.
We have great opportunity for an Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary team in Eltham. You’ll work on a wide range of construction projects, including housing, regeneration, education, commercial, care and health sectors. This role has additional responsibility as a Project Team Leader. Experience in the Construction industry is essential.
The role involves working within our cost consultancy, project management and employer’s agent group. You’ll be part of a multi-skilled team alongside internal and external partners, executing project work as well as assisting in training and mentoring colleagues.
The Role
· Client liaison including include presentation of schemes, project programming and other matters affecting delivery of service.
· Act as the Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent on a wide range of building types, utilising all standard forms of construction
· Appointing Professional Team and management of their performance
· Visiting sites, carrying out and issuing inspection reports
· Preparing and presenting initial appraisal and feasibility reports.
· Preparing and presenting outline design proposals, including preparation of budget estimate costs.
· Preparing full working drawings
· Contract administration
· Tenders
· Project Team Leader
Requirements
· BSc (Hons) degree or similar in Quantity surveying/ Project Management with relevant working experience
· Associate membership of RICS or equivalent recognised qualification
· Construction Project Management experience is essential
· Consultancy experience is preferred
