Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an ASC Placement Officer for a Local Authority Client based in North London.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing high-quality care services that meet residents' needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to contract requirements.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

Identify and arrange cost-effective care services based on individual assessments by key workers.
Issue, manage, and terminate individual service contracts and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with council policies.
Work closely with care management teams, external providers, and other stakeholders to implement and update individual support plans.
Accurately update placement and support information on the Mosaic system, supporting financial reporting and service planning.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Experience working within a social care environment.
Experience in managing service contracts, including issuing, negotiating, and terminating contracts with care providers.
Familiarity with social care legislation, regulations, and statutory bodies such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Ability to calculate and negotiate fair prices for services within council policy boundaries, considering residents' financial situations.

What's on offer:

Salary: £19+ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
