Location: Staverton, Gloucestershire
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30 (or 07:30–16:00), Friday: 08:00–15:00 (or 07:30–14:30)

Brief overview of the job role:
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure their products and processes meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct inspections and tests, and play a key role in maintaining product compliance with engineering drawings and standards.
Key responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:
* Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring tools.
* Verify product compliance with engineering drawings and relevant standards.
* Utilize a variety of measurement devices, including torque drivers, micrometers, and height gauges.
* Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
* Identify and report non-conformances, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with production and engineering teams.
* Monitor and perform internal calibrations of measuring and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the quality department.
Key skills of a Quality Inspector:
* Proficiency in operating CMMs and interpreting CMM data.
* Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
* Familiarity with a wide range of measurement tools and techniques.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Previous experience in a quality inspection or similar role.
