New Projects Coordinator
We are seeking a New Projects Coordinator to join our Rural north Herefordshire based client on a full time, permanent basis. This role will provide essential support to the production teams and contribute to the smooth execution of new project introductions, liaising with the Operations Manager, Quality Department and Managing Director.
What you can expect:
* £26’936 per annum
* Permanent. 37 hour per week
* Monday to Thursday (8am – 5pm) Friday 8am – 1pm
* 22 days paid holiday per annum plus bank holidays
What you will be doing:
* Liaison with customers and Production teams to review new projects
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for project materials / tools, etc
* Collation of information for RFQs (Request for Quotes)
* Creation and Update of all project BOM’s (Bills of Material)
* Creation and update of all Project SMV’s (Standard Minute Values)
* Assist with the compilation of project documents and technical drawings
* Support the manufacture of new project samples and prototypes
* Undertake investigations into new production techniques.
* Advise on the use of new equipment and production processes together with Maintenance Manager.
* Overseeing the start of manufacturing processes to ensure productivity and safety
* Provide general administrative support to the production teams
* Assist the management team on technical matters
What we are looking for:
* The ideal candidate will a manufacturing or engineering background, with experience of liaising with suppliers and / or customers
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and ensure quality
* Experience creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Standard Minute Values (SMVs)
* Technical proficiency across project management software and improvement methodologies
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
* Familiarity within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, handling technical documentation
