THE ROLE

Our client is seeking dedicated and motivated General Operatives to join their team at their Hartlepool site. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day production operations, ensuring processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the operation of various production equipment, including granulators, blenders, and extrusion machines.

Handling raw materials and finished products, ensuring they are processed according to the required specifications.

Performing quality checks to ensure all products meet stringent quality standards.

Maintaining a clean and organized production area.

Strictly adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Accurately completing documentation and records related to production processes.

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, providing suggestions to optimize production processes.

THE EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential.

Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands and environments.

Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to health and safety protocols.

THE SHIFT PATTERN

This role operates on a rotating shift pattern from Monday to Friday, which includes:

Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:00

Late Shift: 15:00 - 23:00

Night Shift: 23:00 - 07:00

Flexibility to work across these shifts is required, with opportunities for overtime based on production needs.
