In this role, you will be instrumental in helping young people with learning disabilities develop vital skills, setting them up for successful employment in the future.

Role Overview: As a Chef Tutor / Teacher, you will bring your passion for teaching and culinary expertise to the classroom, delivering engaging and dynamic food preparation sessions tailored to each student's needs. You will take on a pivotal role in planning and conducting assessments, setting targets, and regularly reviewing student progress. By applying the principles of RARPA (Recognizing and Recording Progress and Achievement), you will ensure that each student receives the support and guidance they need to excel. Your feedback will be key in helping students refine their skills and improve their performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspire and teach young people through engaging cookery sessions.

* Plan and prepare assessments to set and review student targets.

* Apply RARPA principles to track and record student progress.

* Develop and implement action plans for students who need additional support.

* Provide constructive feedback to help students enhance their skills.

Candidate Requirements:

* City & Guilds in Hospitality and Catering Level 2 or equivalent.

* Level 3 qualification is desirable or willingness to work towards it.

* Level 4 Certificate in Education is a plus but not essential.

* Experience working in the Hospitality & Catering industry.

* Previous experience in vocational education is an advantage but not mandatory.

* A collaborative team player with a passion for teaching.
