Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Bricklayer to work with Bury Council on a temporary basis. The roles are full-time working 37 hours per week (Mon – Fri). This role involves a variety of tasks including pointing, flagging, replacing floor slabs, general brickwork, replacing lintels, and crack stitching.
Main Duties:
* Conducting pointing to repair and finish mortar joints.
* Flagging and laying paving stones or tiles for paths and patios.
* Replacing damaged or worn floor slabs.
* Performing general brickwork tasks as required.
* Replacing lintels above doors and windows.
* Applying crack stitching techniques to repair walls.
Essential Criteria:
* Relevant qualification i.e. NVQ or City & Guilds in Plumbing
* Full UK driver’s license (vehicle provided)
* Proven experience as a Bricklayer
* Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
* High level of precision and attention to detail
