Electrical Project Manager
Location: Glasgow
Salary: up to £80k doe

This leading international contractor is looking for a Electrical Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and environmental standards. You will be the main point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project success.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5-10 years’ experience in electrical project management.
• Experience with main or sub-contractors.
• Project experience in LV, MV, and HV electrical systems.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong background in project planning and execution.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Leading project handover from estimating to construction.
• Developing business plans, cost control systems, and schedules.
• Creating procurement, design, and construction plans.
• Coordinating with clients and design teams on procurement and engineering.
• Developing safety and quality plans.
• Mobilizing sub-contractors and site establishment.
• Implementing training plans for staff.
• Managing daily site activities and ensuring compliance with schedules and safety standards.
• Conducting client meetings and weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors.
• Monitoring productivity and maintaining project progress.
• Submitting monthly reports to the Operations Manager (OM).
• Overseeing testing and commissioning.
• Ensuring final design audits and certification of systems.
• Demonstrating systems to clients and preparing final accounts.
• Demobilizing site and producing project close-out reports.
• Maintaining client contact during the warranty period.
• Maintaining site records and participating in monthly meetings.
• Developing skills through training and suggesting improvements.
• Ensuring information security compliance.
