Quantity Surveyor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Southampton. The business operates nationally, undertaking projects across the healthcare, education, commercial and extra care sectors valuing up to £75mil. Projects are administered via a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract and many are procured via government and local authority frameworks.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor you will be working either within a team on a larger scheme or managing your own smaller scheme. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager and will be working closely with the operational teams.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

Involvement in pre-construction activities
Sub-contract procurement
Managing sub-contract packages
Client valuations
Dealing with sub-contractor variations
Final accounts

Key Requirements as Quantity Surveyor:

Construction related degree / HNC
Experience managing projects administering JCT & NEC forms of contract
Live within a commutable distance to Guildford
Have the full right to work in the UK
