Yard Operative

£30,000 per annum

Permanent opportunity in Wrexham.

Working hours are Monday to Friday - 08:00-16:00.

Responsibilities of the Yard Operative:

Managing vehicle arrivals and departures to prevent bottlenecks, improve traffic flow, and optimize time management.
Maximising space utilisation by efficiently storing finished goods, using stock rotation and management practices to ensure proper handling of older inventory.
Communicating with incoming drivers, providing clear instructions for the entire process, and ensuring adherence to site Health and Safety protocols.
Utilising bespoke computer systems to monitor stock levels, track locations, and manage sales orders with meticulous attention to detail.
Collaborating with the customer representative to maintain seamless communication with external customers and quickly address any disruptions in the process.
Driving FLT and Combilift.
The Candidate:
The successfully appointed Yard Operative will have the following skills and abilities:

IT literate - the ability to use SAP and Microsoft Office.
Good attention to detail and works to a high standard.
H&S orientated.
Excellent communication skills.
FLT Counterbalance licence would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
