Junior Project Manager - Building Engineering Company (Kendal)

Are you an ambitious and organised individual looking to take the next step in your career? We are a leading building engineering company based in Kendal, and due to continued growth, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote role.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience)
Bonus: 10% annual performance bonus
Additional Benefits: Company vehicle provided

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality projects for local authorities in the community space, education, and healthcare sectors. This is a fantastic chance to work on meaningful projects that impact our local community while advancing your career in project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior project managers in planning, coordinating, and executing building engineering projects.
Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and budgets are adhered to.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Prepare reports on project status, budgets, and risks for senior management.
Ensure all projects meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and invoices.
Support project managers in problem-solving and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications for Junior Project Manager:

1-2 years' experience in project management or site supervision roles, preferably in construction or engineering sectors.
Knowledge of local authority projects and regulatory frameworks.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.

Qualifications for Site Manager:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Certification.
First Aid at Work Certification.
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in site management, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
