Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Adults Strategic Commissioner to work within our local authority client in Wokingham!

Contract - Initial 6 months contract with a view to being extended to an ongoing basis

Hours - Part Time Position - 3 days per week

Salary - £450.00 per day - negotiable dependent on experience

About the role:

Lead on the strategic commissioning of short break services for unpaid carers, ensuring alignment with local and national policies.
Collaborate with carers, service providers, and key stakeholders to co-design innovative, person-centered break options.
Monitor and evaluate service effectiveness, driving continuous improvement to meet the diverse needs of carers and cared-for individuals.
Oversee budgets, contracts, and performance frameworks, ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery.About You:

Proven experience in strategic commissioning within adult social care or a related field.
Strong knowledge of the challenges faced by unpaid carers and the benefits of short break services.
Analytical skills to interpret data, assess service outcomes, and inform commissioning decisions.About us:
