Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Structural Steel
Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
Salary: £65,000 to £80,000, depending on experience
We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team specialising in structural steel projects. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, providing the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week, with 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for steel fabrication and construction projects.
Manage the financial aspects of the project lifecycle, from tendering through to completion.
Work with NEC (80%) and JCT (20%) contracts to ensure effective management of project costs, change control, and valuations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to monitor project progress and resolve any financial issues.
Conduct site visits and assessments to monitor project progress and validate payments.
Ensure timely submission of cost reports and maintain financial tracking.Key Requirements:

Experience in structural steel fabrication and construction.
Proven experience with NEC contracts (80%) and JCT contracts (20%).
Strong experience in quantity surveying, including cost planning, procurement, and final account management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
