Job Advertisement: Year 2 Teacher (Wed, Thurs, Fri) – January 8th to July 22nd

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Year 2 teacher to join our team for the period of January 8th to July 22nd. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is confident, adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running. The role involves working alongside a highly experienced colleague in a mixed-ability class with no EHCPs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Full classroom teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering lessons, and attending meetings.

* Teaching a confident and challenging class that requires a strong and confident teacher to maintain engagement and foster learning.

* Collaborative work with a Teaching Assistant, shared between two Year 2 classes.

* Implementing and adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of all students.

* Providing a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independent learning and development.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Be an experienced teacher with a proven track record of delivering high-quality education.

* Be confident and resilient, able to thrive in a challenging classroom environment.

* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the teaching team.

* Be well-organised and able to manage a wide range of classroom responsibilities.
