Water Hygiene Technician- South London

£27,000-£30,000+benefits

My client, a prominent specialist in water treatment, is seeking to expand their engineering team with a skilled service technician.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced service technician to join our client's team. This position is well-suited for a seasoned engineer. You will work alongside a team of knowledgeable plumbers and technicians with expertise in L8 compliance.

The role involves daily travel to client sites, mainly within the London area, and occasionally across the country. Ideally, candidates should reside in South London or within a convenient travel distance.

Candidates should possess the experience and skills outlined below to quickly adapt and excel in this role.

Key Skills:

Capability to work independently is crucial.
Strong understanding of domestic systems and experience in resolving issues, such as diagnosing TMV faults and addressing non-compliant temperatures.
Ability to collaborate effectively within an engineering team as well as work independently.
Strong communication skills for reporting2+ years' experience carrying out Water Hygiene duties, including but not limited to:

TMV servicing
Sampling
Tank Chlorinations
Temperature monitoring
Showerhead disinfection and descaling
Calorifier services
Diagnosing non-compliant temperatures
Desirable experience in closed system analytical testing.The company offer a generous benefits package inclusive of basic salary up to £30,000, regionalised working, fully expensed company vehicle (which can be used privately), overtime opportunity, 30 days holiday, progression opportunity & company pension.
