About the Role ️

This exciting role involves teaching engaging History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, helping them uncover the past and understand its impact on today’s world. You’ll create a dynamic learning environment, promote critical thinking, and inspire a lifelong love for history!

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring, creative lessons in line with the national curriculum
Engage students with thought-provoking content and encourage historical inquiry
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the History curriculum
Promote historical understanding and a respect for diverse perspectives

About You ‍‍

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with a specialization in History or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching History
Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment ✅
