About the Company

A local and international manufacturing company seeking a motivated Technical Engineer to join their team in Northamptonshire.

Position Overview

The role involves creating CAD drawings, generating product codes, supporting various departments, and solving manufacturing problems.

Key Responsibilities

Create CAD drawings using AutoCAD Inventor

Generate product codes using AX2009 and the D365 system

Offer technical support to sales and production teams

Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and resolve manufacturing issues

Provide comprehensive technical support in all aspects of engineering/manufacturing

Skills

Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g. Inventor or SolidWorks)

Strong understanding of CAD software

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Engineering qualification (Mechanical preferred)

Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing or engineering

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials

Salary Range: £34,000-£38,000
