TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with several private day Nurseries located just south of Leeds. The nurseries care for children aged 5 and under, helping support them through their formative years and encouraging them to build their confidence and independence. The staff provide a high standard of care for all the children within the setting, helping them reach milestones in all areas of their development.

The Nurseries are currently searching for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to help support them with day-to-day cover throughout the week. The ideal applicant will hold a Level 3 qualification in Education and Early Years or equivalent, and will have previous experience caring for children under the age of 5. The successful Early Years Practitioner will be passionate about helping children learn and develop new skills, and will have a good understanding of the EYFS & its curriculum.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will:

Have a good knowledge of current & up-to-date Safeguarding & Child Protection policies
Be able to work well both independently and as a team
Be reliable and confident in their skills as an Early Years Practitioner.
