Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Remedial Coordinator to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Remedial Coordinator who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Remedial Coordinator, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Remedial Coordinator, will be responsible for:
* To manage and support in the operational delivery of all statutory & non-statutory remedial work in line with contract SLA's.
* Provide the key link between service desk, procurement and operations in ensuring remedial work is planned and delivered.
* Management of all exceptions relating to delays in work delivery and liaison with key account teams to ensure SLAs are not breached.
* Management, coordination & triaging of all non-statutory compliance remedial work resulting from engineering planned maintenance visits & ensuring these are processed via key account teams.
* Support the wider NMN Technical Team on documentation suitability, minor new works delivery and attend client meetings as and when required.
* Support the Continuous Improvement (CI) programme and identify issues to drive forward contract development.
* Review and analyse all supplier quotations to ensure value for money and to carry out occasional benchmark of industry rates to ensure optimum value & margin.
* Assist in the development of NMN operational processes and procedures.
* Undertake quality audit of works in progress and completed.
* Support review and assessment of supply chain partners to meet service needs.
* Contribute to the Forward Maintenance register programme including asset management and warranty control.
To be successful for this Remedial Coordinator role you must have:
* Experience in a similar role with a proven track record in the effective management of an estimating or Technical Support team offering commercial and technical assistance to the wider operations teams.
* People management skills who is able to communicate with colleagues, sub-contractors, supply chain & internal / external clients.
* Both commercially and financially astute.
* Conversant with current H&S legislation and process management systems
* IT literate in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
* Able to interpret contract detail and implement requirements.
* Reviewing risk assessments and method statements as required to ensure work are completed in a safe manner.
* Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
* Ability to record work accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems.
* Flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive).
* Responsible for self and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent amendments.
