Principal Planning Policy Officer
 
Are you an experienced planning professional? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Principal Planning Policy Officer to support the regeneration and renewal of the borough.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Drive the successful delivery of the Local Plan, including associated Area Action Plans and Supplementary Planning Documents.
Ensure meaningful engagement with council divisions, elected members, statutory/non-statutory bodies, developers, and public stakeholders.
Manage research and policy development projects, including overseeing consultants.
Collaborate with cross-council teams to align with corporate objectives, focusing on infrastructure funding and delivery.
Provide expert planning policy advice and deputize for the Planning Policy Manager.
Lead and mentor a team of planners and senior planners.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Planning qualifications and relevant planning policy experience, ideally within a London context.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing projects and teams. Why Join Us?
