Registered Mental Health Nurse (Nights) – Brookhaven, Preston

We are currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities (RNLD) to join a well-established adult nursing home in Brookhaven, Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and structured environment providing high-quality, person-centred care to adults with enduring mental health needs.

Role Details:

* Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Permanent

* Location: Brookhaven, Preston

* Shift Pattern: Night shifts on a two-week rolling rota

* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

* Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

* Paid breaks and handovers included

Responsibilities:

* Provide compassionate, person-centred care during night shifts

* Develop and implement care plans and risk assessments

* Administer medication in line with policies and procedures

* Promote recovery, independence, and well-being

* Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements:

* Active NMC PIN – RMN or RNLD qualification

* Previous experience in mental health, rehabilitation, or similar settings

* Strong understanding of care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding

* Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

* Knowledge of current mental health legislation and best practices
