Senior Quantity Surveyor – DfE schools’ framework

This leading main contractor has an immediate need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on their £22m new-build school scheme in Berkshire.

The role will be to work on a freelance contract basis for a minimum period of 6 months and is likely to be extended or convert to a permanent salaried position potentially. For this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you will work predominantly on site and a day per week from home if needed.

This project is part of the DfE (department for Education) framework of which our client is a part of and running multiple new build secondary schools of varying values from £10m to £30m. These range from extensions and refurbishments of existing schools to totally new buildings.

A good knowledge of education projects in general and experience working with Tier 1 main contractors on JCT and D&B contracts.

A Quantity Surveying qualification is essential, and you will be a current UK resident and eligible to work in the UK without a visa or sponsorship.
