Role Overview:
As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality personal care to our elderly residents, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. You will work closely with the care team, supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting dignity and independence, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide personal care for residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.

* Support residents with medication management, as directed by senior staff.

* Assist with recreational activities and social engagement to promote mental and physical well-being.

* Maintain accurate records of care delivered, observing and reporting any changes in residents’ health or behavior.

* Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure high standards of care are consistently delivered.

* Foster an environment of kindness, respect, and dignity for all residents.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in elderly care

* A caring, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting elderly people.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

* Ability to follow care plans and work independently when required.

* A commitment to maintaining the dignity and well-being of residents.

* A willingness to undergo any required training and professional development
