CSCS Landscaping Operative

V-Recruit are currently working alongside a reputable and longstanding Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Soft Landscaping Operative, to work within Landscaping/Grounds Maintenance teams on projects mainly around Yorkshire.

Our client undertakes all aspects of commercial and domestic Landscaping in and around Yorkshire, including hard and soft landscaping, tree surgery, grounds maintenance and fence erecting.

We are looking for an experienced soft landscaper/grounds maintenance operative

Your duties would include leading a team of 1-3 other Operatives on various projects. You will be ‘on the tools’, completing all aspects of turfing, seeding, planting shrubs, flower beds, trees etc.

You will be required to follow risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe, efficient working.

£14.10 per hour

Temp to perm work available for hardworking, reliable candidates.

Working hours are 7.45am - 4.30pm (Friday 3.30pm finish)

39 hours paid per week

The right candidates will have their CSCS card and a full UK driving licence with access to their own transport due to remote yard location and requirement to drive the company vehicles.

We are looking for someone with previous soft or hard landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience. PA Spraying Licences, or any other Landscaping-specific qualifications would be advantageous, although not necessarily required.

There is much scope for progression with this company; there is potential progression into supervisory roles, or scope for Machinery mechanic/fitter roles for those who are mechanically minded and have some existing mechanical skills i.e. repairs and maintenance on landscaping machinery, such as hedge cutters/pedestrian mowers.
