Are you a hands-on Quality Manager with a passion for driving standards and leading teams?
Our client, a leading name in the food and drink industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to bridge the gap between the Quality and Technical teams, supporting the company's ongoing growth. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality and compliance across the factory floor.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead and manage the quality team, ensuring high standards are maintained across the factory floor.
✅ Train and develop the quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
✅ Support the Technical Manager and step up in their absence.
✅ Oversee and maintain the internal audit schedule to ensure compliance.
✅ Assist in external audits (including BRC) and customer visits.
✅ Maintain and manage relationships with key customers.
Requirements:
? Proven management experience in a similar Quality role within food manufacturing.
? Strong knowledge of BRC and HACCP standards.
? Previous experience working with major retailers.
? Excellent leadership and communication skills.
? Experience in the chilled food sector is preferred but not essential.
Salary - £45,000-£50,000
