Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the delivery of structural engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are met.
- Develop and review detailed structural designs, calculations, and specifications for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors, while mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technicians within the team.
- Ensure all project work adheres to quality standards, conducting regular reviews and troubleshooting complex engineering challenges.
- Support the consultancy’s growth by contributing to proposals, tenders, and client relationship management to secure new projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Chartered Status, Recognized professional accreditation, typically through IStructE or ICE.
- Expertise in designing structural solutions for a wide range of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Ability to manage projects, lead teams, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in tools like Revit, Tekla, and structural analysis software for efficient design and modeling.
- Ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, presenting complex technical information clearly.
