About the role:

As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping our students achieve their academic goals. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide targeted boosters and interventions for students who need extra support in catching up with the curriculum or who are struggling with certain subjects. Your role will involve supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, ensuring that each child gets the individual attention they need to thrive. You will help create a positive learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity and a love for learning, contributing to a vibrant classroom environment.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in Key Stage 1.

• A genuine passion for education and helping children reach their full potential.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support and interventions to students in Key Stage 1, helping them catch up with the curriculum.

• Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of each student.

• Support students in developing their social skills and confidence through positive reinforcement and encouragement.

• Work with small groups or individual students to provide personalized attention and guidance.

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to help inform future teaching strategies.
