Milestone Education are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Outdoor Learning Support Assistant to join our team!

About the School:

Our partnered school is a vibrant and inclusive setting located in Coventry. It caters to pupils aged 4 – 11 with learning disabilities and additional needs such as sensory processing difficulties. The school is committed to fostering a nurturing and aspirational environment where every child can thrive. Our partnered school boasts a range o excellent facilities designed to support the needs of the pupils, including sensory areas, forest school and an adventure trail.

Responsibilities:

As an Outdoor Learning Support Assistant your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting in planning and delivering outdoor learning sessions across a range of subjects, including science, and geography.

* Support students during outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and encouraging active participation.

* Help set up and maintain outdoor learning environments, including gardens, nature trails and outdoor classrooms.

* Work closely with teachers to integrate outdoor learning into the broader curriculum.

* Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel comfortable and excited to explore the outdoors.

* Encourage students to develop teamwork, problem-solving and leadership skills through outdoor activities and challenges.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will need:

* An Enhanced DBS Check (Or be willing to complete one)

* Relevant Education Qualifications (Get in touch to see how we can support with this!)

* Previous experience working with children in an educational or outdoor setting.

* A passion for outdoor learning.

Additional Information:

* Start Date: ASAP

* Full time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30

* Salary - £90 - £100 a day depending on experience.

* Location: CV6, Coventry, Warwickshire
