Stroud Resourcing is recruiting for an Imaging Lead to join a collaborative and welcoming private hospital based in Bedford. This is a full-time role (working 37.5 hours per week across predominantly Monday – Friday plus very occasional weekends) offering a salary of £43,000 and an excellent benefits package.

They offer a variety of surgical services including orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, Urology, ENT and more. In this Imaging Lead job, you will oversee day-to-day clinical service delivery with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring effective staff deployment and providing high-quality, responsive, patient-focused service.

In this role, you can be expected to:

With a grounding in governance and focus on patient care, ensure the radiology team deliver excellent services to your patients and ensure high levels of patient safety.
With a highly visible approach, you will forge positive strong relationships with the Consultant Radiologists, and the Radiation Protection Adviser to optimise clinical aspects of Imaging service delivery
Ensure the department is fully utilised and compliant with all regulatory requirements required. 
To apply for this Imaging Lead role, you must be a qualified radiographer (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience managing or supervising within a multi-modality imaging department - Additional experience in CT and MRI modality is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from the Private Sector and NHS. We also welcome applications from experienced Senior Radiographers looking to progress into an Imaging Lead role.
