Town Planner – Permanent – UK wide – Remote - Up to £50,000 Per Annum + Benefits

Join a well-established engineering services provider brings over 25 years of expertise to the telecommunications and power sectors.

Lead planning approvals for wireless telecommunications infrastructure, including rooftop installations, greenfield towers, street works, and small cells. Additional focus on renewable energy and EV charging points. Provide strategic planning advice while helping shape urban planning services in telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver planning services for telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring compliance with national/local policies

* Prepare and submit planning applications and supporting documentation

* Mentor junior planners and communicate legislative updates

* Support Project Managers with planning guidance

* Manage stakeholder relationships and planning appeals

* Identify business development opportunities

* Represent the planning team at industry events

Required Experience & Skills

* Proven track record preparing telecommunications or related infrastructure planning applications

* Strong knowledge of planning legislation, GPDO, and appeals processes

* MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership

* Telecommunications infrastructure planning experience preferred

* Excellent communication and report writing skills
