We’re seeking an accomplished leader to oversee our dedicated staff and ensure every resident receives the highest level of care. With a full complement of professional staff, a committed Operations Manager, and supportive owners, you’ll have everything you need to succeed in this pivotal role.

There’s a great salary attached to this post, of £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on skills and experience.

The Role of the Registered Manager

* Manage the day to day operations of the nursing home

* Lead, manage and motivate the staff team, ensuring that regular supervision and appraisals are held

* Coaching and developing staff, ensuring that they are up to date with all training requirements

* Conduct care assessments, care planning and managing people’s transition into the home.

* Ensure effective communication and positive relationships with residents, families, social workers and healthcare professionals

* Audits

The Successful Candidate

* We’re looking or somebody that has worked as a Registered Manager / Nursing Home Manager previously (within a care home / nursing home) and understands the needs of older people.

* This is a non-clinical role within a nursing home, so you don’t need to a be a qualified nurse. You’ll need QCF/NVQ level 4 or working towards

* Ability to manage teams effectively, leading by example, being a visible presence and ensuring that staff are empowered to fulfil their roles

* Ability to monitor, maintain and improve standards of care and strong auditing skills
