Quantity Surveyor – Based in Eastleigh covering Hampshire and surrounding areas

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p/a + company van & fuel card

Join a leading UK-based property maintenance provider, offering reliable and high-quality services across Scotland, Northern/Southern England, London, and the Home Counties. They cover everything from painting and repairs to fire protection and complete refurbishments, ensuring properties are well-maintained and safe. Key sectors, including education, healthcare, housing, and retail.

Your Responsibilities:

* Measure, evaluate, and price tenders

* Manage commercial aspects of projects from contract award through to final account

* Conduct CVR reporting and forecasting, ensuring updates are reviewed weekly with Operations teams

* Procure supply chain services to secure best-value contracts

* Administer and manage sub-contractor accounts effectively

* Produce and submit applications for payment and invoices

* Price and value post-contract variations to maximise profitability

* Collect payments promptly and manage cash flow effectively

* Finalise accounts in a timely manner

* Report monthly accounts in alignment with forecasts

The successful candidate will have:

* 5 years in surveying (preferred)

* Previous experience in painting projects (essential)

* Expertise in commercial management

* Demonstrated knowledge of monthly reporting and forecasting

* Strong teamwork abilities and independence in task execution

* Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

* Capacity to support and encourage other commercial team members

* Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Excel

* Full UK driving licence
