Control Systems Engineer – Manufacturing & Engineering – Staffordshire – Up to £60,000

Our client is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join their team in the Staffordshire area, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various applications and industries (esp. Water Treatment, Waste Processing, Industrial Processing and Fire Training Rigs).
 
As a small controls company, our client is looking to grow to meet current clients’ expectations over the next few years. They are looking for a candidate to fit in with their diverse skillset and be able to work closely with our current engineers.
 
The ideal applicant should have a good Electrical and Control Engineering foundation and a desire to create solutions to fit within the company’s standards.
 
Control Systems Engineer – The Rewards

Full UK Driving Licence (required)  Control Systems Engineer – Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience in PLC/SCADA programming (system control design).
Able to read and understand Electrical Schematics and P&ID’s
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 (Beneficial).
Experience in Control Systems Engineering or related field (Beneficial).  Control Systems Engineer – Responsibilities

Design and develop Control Systems.
Create control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization’s Quality Standards.
Troubleshoot issues with Control Systems.
Write and review reports and test results.
Test program operation to verify its functionality.
