Technical Author - Walsall

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Technical Author for a long-term contract opportunity based in Walsall. This role falls outside of IR35, with pay rates dependent on experience, ranging from £30 to £40 per hour, negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and training materials.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to gather information and ensure accuracy.
Prepare clear and concise documentation to support manufacturing, testing, and project completion.
Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and client specifications.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Technical Author.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Ability to understand and interpret technical information.
Proficiency in using documentation tools and software.
Background in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, or rail is advantageous.Contract Details:

Duration: Minimum of 12 months with a possible extension to 36 months.
Possibility for hybrid working once the project is established.Pay Rate:

£30 to £40 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.Location:
