Purchase Ledger Assistant - Join a Leading Manufacturing Group!

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you thrive on handling high-volume invoices and ensuring smooth financial operations? This newly created position would be a great opportunity for AAT Studiers.

The Role:

I am looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join my clients finance team within a large, multi-company manufacturing group. You will be responsible for processing approximately 300 invoices per month, managing company expenses, and assisting with the monthly payment run. Your role will be vital in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring suppliers are paid on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Process high-volume purchase invoices (approx. 300 per month) with accuracy and efficiency.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Manage company expenses, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of the monthly payment run.
Maintain accurate purchase ledger records and ensure timely supplier payments.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a Purchase Ledger role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of invoices.
Knowledge of SAGE 200 would be a distinct advantage.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, meeting deadlines with ease.
