We're hiring an experienced Senior Mechanical Fitter to join a specialist machinery build team working on bespoke equipment used worldwide. You’ll be assembling a wide range of mechanical systems—from small components to full production lines—using engineering drawings and working closely with design, maintenance, and project teams.

What You’ll Do:
Build complex mechanical machinery and sub-assemblies

Fit motors, gearboxes, bearings, and shafts to high standards

Work from technical drawings to complete full machine builds

Modify and refurbish equipment as needed

Support hydraulic and pneumatic system assembly

Operate manual tools (mills, lathes, drills)

Maintain a clean, efficient workshop and support continuous improvement

Occasional overseas travel (1–3 times/year)

What We’re Looking For:
Strong mechanical fitting or assembly experience

Skilled with tools and workshop machinery

Confident reading and working from engineering drawings

Knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics a plus

Recognised mechanical qualification (NVQ3 / BTEC / City & Guilds)

Proactive, detail-focused, and a team player

Ideal for someone who enjoys building machines from the ground up and takes pride in high-quality work.
