Berry recruitment is actively seeking a committed Fork Lift Driver to cover the Onion harvesting season. You will be stacking onion boxes, helping with the logistics of moving the harvested onions to the factories off site. Loading lorries. If there is a lull in work pending more harvest coming to site then you will be required to help out with some manual tasks such as mending onion boxes etc.

With the nature of this work and the seasonality then for the harvest; 6 - 7 days a week will be worked and when the harvest is being gathered in 12 hours a day is not unusual. Usual start time is 07:00am.

Please be prepared for the flexibility. When it rains then usually you would gain a days break!

Because of the flexibility needed in this commitment of 3-4 months there is a need to work often a long working week.

Candidate must hold a counterbalance certificate.

Start date 9/9/2024 ideally.
