Contract Mechanical Design Engineer

6 month + contract (rolling)

Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor experience to undertake a long-term contract working on complex equipment.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in Autodesk Inventor to support a project undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life-cycle. 

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to :

Conceptualise mechanical ideas

Undertake detailed design

Support procurement and manufacturing teams to produce prototypes

Work with suppliers and internal teams to produce technical documentation including Bill of Materials (BOM’s) CAD drawings, work instructions schematics and similar

Knowledge of manufacturing methods

 The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have;  

Proven mechanical design experience within a fast-paced development environment

Experience working on complex mechanical equipment

3D CAD  - AutoCAD Inventor
