A main contractor is recruiting a Site Agent for a specialist project in Plymouth constructing a new dock. The business is a multi-discipline company with projects upwards of £500m across several divisions including highways, building and rail however they also have a secure flow of work from frameworks for local authorities, National Highways, water companies and the Environment Agency.

Site Agent duties include:

Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
Production and integration of 3-week programmes
Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers
Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
Managing RFI's and Technical Queries
Raising early warnings and compensation events

The successful candidate will join a long term contract assignment.
