Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis based in North Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within their systems. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of organisational data.
Duties for the Data Entry Clerk will include but not be limited to the following:
Enter and update data into the company database or systems with speed and accuracy.
Verify data for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies and correct them as needed.
Maintain and organise records, both electronic and physical, for easy retrieval.
Perform regular backups to ensure data security and minimise loss risks.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry, ensuring completeness and compliance.
Communicate effectively with team members to clarify data inconsistencies.
Follow established protocols and procedures to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Generate reports, summaries, and analyses as requested by supervisors.
The ideal candidate for the Data Entry Clerk will have the following:
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with Sims and the Admissions portal is essential
Accuracy in data entry tasks is crucial

Based on a 32.5 hours week, paying £13.90 per hour.
